Music

Picture
I love music.  I have been singing my entire life, from church to chorus to musicals to competitive collegiate a cappella with the UGA Accidentals.  I also play piano, trumpet, and guitar.  I write my own music and have been in a few bands over the years.  Currently I am having fun making goofy music with my friend Maggie Smith in a band we call The EmCees.

I record music in a humble studio in my house, and have been producing music since I was a senior in high school.  Notably, three young artists I have produced have gone on to either get signed by a record label or become independent artists.

gye nyame, ep (my E.P.)

My little EP is only a few songs that I've recorded here and there over the years.  Some are jokes, some are emotional, some are just plain fun.  I love recording music, check out some of the songs below!

The album art to the right is a picture I took a few years ago and always thought was kind of cool.  And gye nyame is the name of a symbol that is important to me.  For more information on that, get to know me!

What I've been listening to...

I beatboxed (made the drum noises with my mouth) for this song:

Powerball Spec Commercial

My friends Zack Goulet, Rebekah Cheyne, and Jennifer Smith wrote and shot this commercial for a get-your-commercial-played-during-the-Superbowl competition.  I composed the music!

Guinness Commercial (by Nick Scofield, I composed the music)

In The Air Tonight (CMF film I acted in and composed music for)

This student film I made with my friends made it not only to the Southern Regional Grand Finale in Atlanta, but to the Campus Moviefest International Grand Finale in Los Angelos!  It was played on the Paramount lot for the finale of the international competition.  Woo!

Apart (a film by Zack Goulet, I composed the score)
