Some of my closest a cappella friends and I got together in Washington, DC to record a song for Ben Folds' a cappella album competition.  We didn't win, but we had the time of our lives recording and reuniting for the weekend!  That's me in the middle with the headphones on, beatboxing and singing.

Here's a recording of us singing Cupid's Chokehold, by the Gym Class Heroes.  I'm the guy rapping!

This a recording of Josh Groban's "Lullaby" that I sang on while I was in the Accidentals.

This is me singing our own version of Bill Withers' Aint No Sunshine When She's Gone (arranged by my dear friend Yannick Morgan).  It was pretty early in the morning, so don't judge me!  Oh and somehow this video has over 7,000 views on YouTube!

So...I had a 'rap' solo when I was in the group.  Haha!  And somehow this video, though our performance really isn't that good, got over 44,000 views on YouTube!

We always did have a problem counting...  Had so much fun singing this song!

Yannick Morgan arranged this song as well.  The soloists (rapping) in order are Taylor Gray, myself, and Kirby Duncan.  The trio for the chorus is Tyrus Eaves, Myers Boicourt, and Darren Bryson.

My good friend Yannick Morgan arranged this version of the classic Bill Withers tune, Ain't No Sunshine.  I sing on this and for performances I usually beatboxed for it as well.

Lullaby 01/26/2007

On a chilly trip to Juniata College in Pennsylvania, the UGA Accidentals sang Josh Groban and Dave Matthews' song Lullaby to a captivated audience. Good times, fellas--and great job Myers!

Myers singing this Phil Collins cover--seems like yesterday!

    UGA Accidentals

Formed in 1974, the UGA Accidentals is the oldest collegiate a cappella group at the University of Georgia.  Using only our voices, we sang contemporary music, a few classics, and some choral pieces.  The Accidentals typically consists of about 14 or so active, involved college guys who enjoy singing and have been performing for years--we have a good time on and off stage!  Singing with these guys were some of my favorite college memories.
